Terms of Sale

1. About Us
This website (uk.whateveroclock.com) is operated by Take Up Space Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 12203181, with its registered office at 21 Dunwich, Shoreham by Sea, BN43 5PE.
We trade as Whatever O'Clock. Our products are printed and shipped from the United Kingdom by our print partner. You can contact us at [email protected].
2. These Terms
These Terms of Sale (the "Terms") govern your purchase of products from us through uk.whateveroclock.com. By placing an order, you confirm that you accept these Terms. Please read them carefully before you buy.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The Terms applicable to your order are those in force at the date you place that order.
3. Our Products
Our products are wall clocks featuring zen-inspired words and designs, custom-printed to order onto a glass face. Because each clock is made to your specification and cannot be resold, your right to cancel is different from off-the-shelf goods (see Section 8).
The images and previews shown on our website are illustrative. Print colours may vary slightly from on-screen previews due to differences in monitor calibration and print processes. We work to keep variation to a minimum.
4. Placing an Order
Adding an item to your basket is not an offer to buy. Your order is an offer to buy from us, made when you complete checkout and payment. We accept your offer when we send you an order confirmation email. A binding contract is formed at that point.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before this acceptance for any reason, including (but not limited to) suspected fraud, pricing errors, or content we judge unlawful or offensive. If we cancel, you will receive a full refund.
5. Price and Payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of all charges. The price you see is the price you pay — there is no separate tax or surcharge added at checkout, and delivery is included unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Payment is taken at the time of order via Stripe. We accept the card networks supported by Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where available in your browser. We do not see, store, or transmit your full card details — payment data is handled directly by Stripe under their own privacy and security terms.
6. Delivery
We ship within the United Kingdom only. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are estimates, not guarantees. Custom clocks usually arrive within 5 to 7 working days from the date of order, comprising production plus carrier delivery time. We will email you a tracking number once your clock is dispatched.
Risk of loss and damage passes to you when the clock is delivered to the address you provided. Ownership passes when full payment is received.
If your order has not arrived within 30 days of dispatch, please contact us at [email protected] and we will investigate with the carrier.
7. Inspection on Delivery
Please inspect your clock on receipt and notify us within 14 days of delivery if it arrives damaged or faulty (see our Returns & Refunds Policy).
8. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
Because our clocks are custom-printed to your specification, they are exempt from the usual 14-day right to cancel for change of mind under regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (goods made to your personal specification). Once production has started we therefore cannot accept a change-of-mind cancellation.
This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If your clock is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. See our full Returns & Refunds Policy for how to make a claim.
9. Your Use of the Website
You may not use uk.whateveroclock.com in any way that breaches applicable law, infringes anyone's rights, or interferes with our systems. You may not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful or infringing. We may remove orders containing such content.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on uk.whateveroclock.com (including the curated zen quotes, the clock face designs, photographs, copy, and code) is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not reproduce or distribute any of it without our written permission, except for personal use of clocks you have purchased.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you placed your order. We sell to consumers; if you are buying as a business, please contact us before ordering.
12. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, including (without limitation) supplier failure, postal strikes, fire, flood, pandemic, war, civil unrest, or government action.
13. Privacy
Our processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the law of England and Wales. As a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that part of the UK.
