Story angles
Happy to talk about any of these on the record.
A clock that swears at hustle culture
Whatever O'Clock sells wall clocks carrying blunt, profane responses to overwork. It is the deliberate inversion of the calm-mindfulness decor category.
Anti-hustle humour, moved onto the wall
The same jokes people share about overwork and burnout, put on a wall clock where they see them every day. A funny-gift story and a workplace story at once.
The same designer makes the calm version
Mark K. also runs Zen Wall Clocks, a calm mindfulness brand with lines like "This too shall pass", and Now Clocks, which carries a single word. All three are printed on the same production line.
Founder
Whatever O'Clock is run by Mark K., who designs all three of the studio's clock brands from the south coast of England. He started the studio in 2026. The longer version of that story is on the about page.
